Sort Hurdle Terms of Use

Sort Hurdle is made by RopoLabs. You may play it; you may not tamper with the leaderboard or resell the app. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds and cancellations go through Apple, not through us.

Sort Hurdle is licensed, not sold. Your licence to use the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in full. These terms sit alongside it and cover the service — the leaderboard, the daily board and the coin economy — rather than the app itself. Where the two genuinely conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.

You do not need an account, and the app does not offer one. Your play belongs to an anonymous identifier kept on your device.

Do not automate the game, modify it, or otherwise file a time you did not actually achieve by clearing the board in the app. The daily is one attempt per day on each device.

You appear on the leaderboard under a name the game generates. We may reset any name, and we may remove times we have good reason to believe were not honestly achieved.

Solve times are verified on our server by replaying your moves. A submission that fails verification may be rejected or removed.

Coins are a feature of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred between players, and are not property. They exist only inside Sort Hurdle and can be changed or discontinued as the game changes.

Every board includes one free hint; Plus includes three. Coins are for hints beyond that allowance, for an extra empty tube on a ladder level, and for opening a past day. Every board includes five undos, and an optional ad adds five more.

Coin packs are one-off purchases, and so is Remove Ads. Sort Hurdle Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, sold in two lengths: one month or one year. It renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends, and your Apple account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings, not in this app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — cancel it with Apple, or it will keep renewing.

Refunds are Apple’s to give. If Apple refunds a purchase, we are told, and the coins, the Remove Ads purchase or the Plus period that purchase paid for are withdrawn.

Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, as reported by the App Store, and may change. A price change never applies retroactively to a purchase already made.

Plus removes the ads the game shows you, opens every past daily board, and starts every board with three free hints instead of one — the daily included. It does not grant coins. Remove Ads removes the same ads, once and for good, and nothing else. The daily leaderboard ranks on time alone.

“Removes the ads” means the banner and the full-screen ads the game shows between levels. Rewarded ads — the optional ones you choose to watch for coins, a hint, more undos, a past day or a doubled daily bonus — remain available on both. You are never required to watch one.

The daily leaderboard, the calendar, coins and purchases depend on our server. We try to keep it running and we do not promise that it always will be. The boards themselves are made on your device and stay playable without a connection.

We may change or discontinue features. If a change removes something you have paid for, we will say so rather than let it lapse quietly.

You can stop playing Sort Hurdle at any time, and ask us to erase what the server holds — see section 11 of the privacy policy. We may suspend play that breaks these terms, in particular manipulating the leaderboard.

Sort Hurdle is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, RopoLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to play after that means the new version applies.
